Vision Meat is seeking a qualified and proactive Health & Safety Officer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Conduct inspections and risk assessments in retail and warehouse environments
- Ensure compliance with OHS legislation and company standards
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Deliver safety training and awareness programmes to staff
- Maintain accurate safety records and reports
- Liaise with management, contractors, and authorities on safety matters
- Promote a strong Health and Safety culture across all operations
Requirements:
- Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety Management or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Health and Safety role (retail, logistics, or similar)
- Knowledge of food safety standards is an advantage
- Strong understanding of the OHS Act and related regulations
- Excellent communication, reporting, and training skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in a team
