An industry leader in the industrial weighing equipment industry is searching for a highly skilled and experienced Electronics Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join our team at our industrial weighing equipment company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics repair and troubleshooting. The Electronics Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electronic components of our weighing machinery, ensuring that they are operating efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic components of industrial weighing equipment
- Perform routine maintenance of equipment
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment performance
- Document all repairs and maintenance activities for record keeping purposes
- Assembly of hardware and electronic components and systems
- Provide technical support to customers as needed
- Stay current with new technologies and industry trends in industrial weighing equipment
Minimum requirements:
- A qualification in Electronics Technology or related field
- 2 or more years of experience in working with electronics hardware components
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits and components
- Experience with soldering and testing equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Certification in electronics repair or related field is a plus
