Bona Bona Lodge is looking for a well-presented, customer-focused Hostess to join their front-of-house team.
Key Responsibilities
• Welcome and seat guests, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
• Manage reservations and walk-ins efficiently.
• Provide accurate wait-time estimates and oversee the waiting area.
• Answer calls and guest inquiries about the menu, hours, and facilities.
• Maintain front-of-house cleanliness and assist the service team during busy shifts.
• Handle guest feedback and concerns with professionalism.
Requirements & Qualities
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Organised, calm, and reliable under pressure.
• Physically able to stand or walk for long periods.
• Good multitasking and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with reservation or point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
Details
• Accommodation: Bachelor’s room (self-furnished).
• Meals: Not included.
• Salary: R8 000 gross per month.
• Work schedule: 195 hours per month (depending on shift).
• Must have own transport.
