Position Summary:
- To maximise sales by delivering exceptional customer care and displaying superior product knowledge
- To contribute to effective stock management by bringing to management’s attention any stock discrepancies and to report stock movement in general
- Increased sales and customer loyalty will result in improved business results.
Description:
- Promptly attend to walk-in and phone-in customers
- Manages incoming leads and direct as appropriate.
- Stock orders, discounts and pricing parameters adhered to
- Sales promotions done as required
- Quotes done accurately and timeously
- Actively seek out sales opportunities
- Promote products positively to customers
- Place specials emphasis on the promotion of Exclusive / House Brands
- Focus on ad-ons to the customer baskets
- Be aware of store / individual sales targets and progress in achieving same
- Use appropriate merchandizing techniques to display stock
- Ensure all price tickets/labels are current and accurate
- Assist with in-store organization for promotions e.g. merchandizing, price tickets
- Maintain an up-to-date awareness of all special offers/ promotions and actively read catalogues and product labels to familiarize yourself with products
- Liaise with debtors / cashier to minimise payment problems
- Ensure collection of monies on delivery of parts
Requirements:
- Minimum Matric/ Grade 12.
- Minimum 2- 3 years relevant experience.
- Superior sales and product knowledge.
- Strong administration skills.
- Customer relationship management skills.
- Proven track record in sales.
- Telesales experience will be adventurous
